Selamat Detang! Indonesia was born under a lucky travel star: amazing deep sea diving, treks along a volcano rim, exquisite landscapes as varied as virgin jungle and terraced rice paddies, a cuisine of a thousand flavours. There is no doubt that the innumerable attributes of this country will delight travellers … But a trip to Bali or to Indonesia, is not only the discovery of incomparable natural wonders, it is also an encounter with anextraordinary culture. It is the largest archipelago in the world, with 13,000 islands (some say up to 17,000!), it is also the fourth most populated country in the world with 240 million inhabitants. With ancient connections to India and China, and later with the Middle East, what was once a trade route quickly became a crossroad for cultural exchange. This history explains why there are still, to this day, many religious practices (Islam, Hinduism, Christianity and Animism), coexisting side by side in Indonesia.

Bali is beautiful. There is so much history and something to do around every corner. Our hotels were immaculate and the staff were all great. The food, the people, the history, the beach. I mean what is not to love?
As I already said we really enjoyed the trip whatsoever and I reckon that the best moments were when we visited Komodo Island and had the opportunity to do a snorkelling session in the ocean. We saw a turtle and a lot of corals, that was not only the best part of the trip but the best experience of my life
Totally, the trip was awesome, as a honeymooners it certainely would be,the driver was so kindly, the car was in a very good condition, Indonesians are a very kind people, It was only that coward who sold me a SIM card with 30 $ .
The hotels were great, only Villa Sonia at Ubud had a very weak WIFI signal in the room, Villa agung Seminyak , the crew weren't that kind especially the receptionist, may be because we were there for only one day.
One last thing, I recommend for honeymooners Ubud and Seminyak more than Kuta, as we spent 3 days in Kuta which wasn't a right decision as it was so crowdy.
