Is Ireland the right destination for you?

Céad míle fáilte. In Ireland, they don’t just welcome you, they welcome you "a hundred thousand times over!" This saying portrays perfectly the warm and friendly Irish. In France however, our opinion on this beautiful country is limited. We’ve all heard of the lakes of Connemara, we suppose they must be impressive to have inspired Michel Sardou to such an extent; plus we don’t doubt the quality of the fish; although there’s always a concern that it may rain throughout a stay on Irish soil. The weather is more unpredictable than you'd like believe. Imagine nature’s beauty as the sun shines across a landscape drenched by the rain several minutes beforehand. It’s at that moment you understand that nothing good can come of a grey sky.

Ireland is an ideal spot for exploring, whether it’s on foot, by bike, on horseback or by boat. But it’s just as easy visiting the highlights of Ireland by car. People also come to play golf or go fishing. What’s more, Ireland is rich in history and legends, to be discovered when visiting its age-old monuments. Dolmens, medieval houses and old mansions to name a few.

Basic plan was great - we saw a lot of Ireland and really enjoyed ourselves. I was happy that everything was well organized and yet we could be independent. I was reassured that I could call on you if there was a problem but fortunately that did not happen. This is the second time I have used Evaneos and have been pleased both times. Thanks for assisting us in having a good trip!

Dublin was terrific, but we enjoyed the countryside and our visits to the smaller towns very much. The owners of Damerstown B&B were very friendly and it was lovely to gain insight into their life styles. All the B&B's and hotels were well run and the reception was always friendly. The people at Hertz were wonderful and we enjoyed driving around the country-side. There was so much to see, we could have spent another month touring your beautiful country. Highlights were too many to mention, but Powerscourt Gardens, Blarney Castle, a boat trip on the Shannon River, Muckross House and Gardens, Cliffs of Moher and the ferry to Aran Islands are unforgettable. Margaret Kelly at Ashgrove Manor made our stay at Kinsale memorable. Kinsale itself is a lovely village and Margaret maintains a high standard. I enjoyed Ierland so much that I wish I was Irish too. You can be very proud of your country and its people. Thank you. We shall definitely make use of Evaneos on our next trip.

We had a 6 night tour of Ireland - 2 nights in Dublin, 1 in Kilkenny, 1 in Killarney, 1 in Dromoland and 1 in Malahide. Our stay in the castle in Dromoland was heavenly and the Food, Fairies and folklore evening in Dublin was amazing.
