loved their trip to Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is lovely and we would like to go back to see the East coast, Tea Country, Ella and Millenium foundation again, plus take a full days safari somewhere. We will stay longer in each accommodation and probably stay longer on the island next time.

Best parts:

Sigaria,, Millennium Foundation, Elephant Safari, Dambula, Ella, Tea Country, Anuradhapura, Pollonnaruva, rail trip up from Kandy, Tallala Beach resort, Eco Lodge and jungle walk. The Batik workshop was great. The accommodation and food was good every where, lovely friendly people.

Worst parts:

Traffic in Colombo! I couldn't see the value in travelling South from the airport only to head immediately north of the airport the following morning, it would have made our first day easier to stay North of the airport. Spice Gardens, tourist rip off. Whale watching was OK but too many boats and people on our boat to really enjoy the experience. We probably tried to pack too much in and had to miss some temples due to time constraints.
